Conference Community Agreement & Code of Conduct

As a community, we strive to make the conference (both in-person and virtual) enjoyable, safe, and welcoming to everyone. This has always been true for this conference and this community. To reinforce this commitment, we developed a Wetland Science Conference Community Agreement & Code of Conduct. In a nutshell, the agreement says that our community will be kind, patient, and accountable. Everyone who registers for the conference is expected to uphold these standards.  Read the whole agreement & code of conduct here.

Conference Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be given for conference registrations as oral presentation session recordings will be available on-demand following the conference. If you are not able to attend the in-person conference and you notify us in writing no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the conference, we will refund the difference between an in-person conference registration and an on-demand-only registration. No refunds of conference fees will be made in the case of non-attendance or less than two weeks’ notice. Substitutions will be accepted. Field trip, workshop, and on-demand registration fees are non-refundable.

If public health guidelines at the time of the conference make it imprudent to hold a large in-person gathering, we will move content online and apply all registration fees for the in-person event to the virtual event.

Thank you for understanding our need for this policy. Please call 608-250-9971 if you have any questions.
